Board
How the numbers are built. Market win totals are shifted to sum to 272 and inverted into team strength ratings. Each simulated season uses a real NFL schedule shape — six divisional games, and the rest spread across the conference — so wins always sum to 272 and division rivals cancel each other out the way they actually do. Rival owners are modelled as drafting off the market board with a controllable amount of noise.
What it does not know. Injuries, holdouts and depth-chart news after the lines were pulled. Ties are not modelled. If you know something the market does not, put it in the projections editor — that is where an edge in this format actually comes from.
Win totals fetched 2026-08-23 from Pinnacle (guest API) via scripts/nfl-pinnacle.ts. Projections are de-vigged implied means, not raw lines. Refresh with `npm run nfl:pinnacle`.
